Access and day-pass prices
yyc.com lists Maple Leaf Lounge access for eligible premium-cabin passengers, Aeroplan Elite Status members, Maple Leaf Club members, Star Alliance Gold members and holders of some American Express and CIBC Aeroplan cards. Air Canada sells access as a travel option to passengers on Premium Economy and Latitude fares (C$49), comfort fares (C$59) and Flex fares (C$79), during booking or at least 24 hours before the trip. Access cannot be bought at the airport on the day of travel.
The WestJet Elevation Lounge is free for WestJet Rewards Platinum and Gold members, Business cabin passengers on WestJet’s 787-9, and some Delta Medallion, Priority Pass and card members. Other passengers pay on entry: C$59 plus GST per adult and C$30 plus GST per child aged 2 to 17 when flying WestJet, or C$65 and C$33 plus GST on other airlines. Children under 2 enter free. The maximum stay is three hours.
yyc.com lists entry to both Aspire lounges at C$55 plus tax, and access with Priority Pass, DragonPass, American Express, Dreamfolks, Diners Club and LoungeKey. The operator also sells entry on its own website. Its standard stay is up to three hours before the scheduled departure, children must be with an adult, and alcohol is served from 11:00 am.
Showers
yyc.com lists shower facilities in both Aspire lounges. At the Elevation Lounge, a private shower is booked with a WestJet agent on arrival in the lounge, for up to 45 minutes. yyc.com does not list showers at the Calgary Maple Leaf Lounge, and it lists no public showers outside the lounges. Without lounge access, the other places to shower at the airport are the rooms at the two in-terminal hotels, Calgary Airport Marriott In-Terminal Hotel or Delta Hotels Calgary Airport In-Terminal.
YYC Quiet Space and sleeping pods
The YYC Quiet Space is free and open 24 hours. yyc.com lists two locations after security: beside Gate A24 in the domestic terminal and near Pick-Up Area D/E in the international terminal. It has loungers, seating and courtesy yoga equipment.
The yyc.com FAQ says a lounge visit can include a nap in a sleeping pod and a hot shower. None of the lounge listings on yyc.com, westjet.com, aircanada.com or the Aspire operator’s pages names a lounge with sleeping pods, so ask the lounge before paying for entry to use one. For a night in the terminal, see our sleeping in Calgary Airport guide.
Day rooms at the in-terminal hotels
The Calgary Airport Marriott In-Terminal Hotel is the only hotel on this site that publishes day use. It sells day-use guest rooms, M Club day passes, and early check-in and late checkout, inside the airport and a short walk from baggage claim. Its indoor pool and whirlpool open 6:00 am to 11:00 pm and its fitness centre 24 hours. Book day use directly with the hotel in advance.
Delta Hotels Calgary Airport In-Terminal does not publish day-use rooms; a stay there is an overnight booking. Our day rooms guide covers layover planning, and our delays and cancellations guide covers where to stay when a flight is cancelled.
